Creative Therapeutic Intervention for Children, also known as CTIfC, is a service set up to support children who are experiencing anxiety in relation to school attendance. Offering different types of services such as music, art and dog therapy to support Primary school children in the Clackmannanshire area.
In 2023, Oliver's Army Assistance and Therapy Dogs were contacted by the CTIfC team to find out more about Therapy dogs and what we did as a charity. Tracy, our manager, went to visit the team with her own trained therapy dog, Marley. They fell in love with her and she joined the team along with Tracy to provide therapy dog services within local schools.
Marley offers fun, comfort and understanding to the children with all backgrounds who struggle with the daily task of school. She doesn't show judgement for what is happening in a child's life or show negativity to the children's feelings and emotions.
Marley loves to play games, dressing-up and giving big snuggles.
From walking the children to school to help with the anxiety of leaving their homes, to doing training with those who struggle to achieve and feel proud. Marley is happy to support and love every child she meets unconditionally!
